Description
So, it’s not very often I have a client contact me about selling one of the pieces I’ve made for them. From what people tell me, they love living with them. However, my client is selling his house and moving out of town, and the piece is just too big for his suitcase.
It was 2003, only a couple of years after we’d moved to Homer when I made this Sea Dragon frolicking in the waves. He originally wanted a ridge board for his cabin. However, when his plans to build a new home firmed up, We decided, due to the strong coastal winds, to move it inside instead. It hung above the picture windows overlooking Bishop’s Beach.
I made the wall sculpture from dimpled stainless steel, brass, and reclaimed Douglas fir. It measures 14′ long and just under 2′ high. If you have a place for it or know someone who might love it, please get in touch.
I had a poor-quality camera when I installed it. If you’re in the Homer area, we can arrange for you to see it in person.
Plus, it’s going for close to 30% off what I’d charge to make it today. ( If you don’t live in the area, I can work up a crating and shipping quote for you.)

‘It’s extravagantly beautiful workmanship. It was a pleasure working with Jeff. He presented ideas and thoughts, and was helpful with suggestions.’
