The Dean Gallery is family owned and features a diverse collection of contemporary Alaskan art, from significant focal point wood and metal wall art to bronze sculptures, intricately carved wood panels, and specialty prints on wood, metal, and paper.<\/p>

You’ll also find a variety of other art and gifts, including greeting cards and stickers.<\/p>

The gallery is unique among Homer, Alaska, gallery spaces. Its circular construction and reclaimed redwood timber frame displays give you a taste of what people experience on our popular Dean Homestead<\/span> and Art Studio tours.<\/a><\/p>

We accept all major credit cards and Apple Pay. Shipping is available for both small and large artworks.<\/p>

Come meet the artists; our gallery is open during posted business hours and by appointment. We also offer extended evening hours during Homer’s monthly First Friday events.<\/p>

Ranja’s deep connection with the four-legged kingdom, the magic of life, and many a night adventuring beneath the stars inspires much of her art.\u00a0<\/p>

Jeff has been making sculpture and wall art in clay, wood, bronze, stone, and steel since the late ’70s. His current focus is on creating significant, focal point wood and metal wall art.<\/a><\/p>

He makes this metal wall decor using innovative techniques he has developed over the last 30 years. His metal wall art is available as both originals and metal photo prints.<\/p>

Jeff also spends much of his time creating\u00a0commissioned artworks<\/a>\u00a0for clients across the country.<\/p>

‘Nor ‘easter,’ one of his works of public art,<\/a>\u00a0can be seen in the Homer Volunteer Fire Hall’s Pocket Park on East Pioneer Avenue.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

M’fanwy is an artist and graphic designer.<\/p>

She uses tiny chisels to hand-carve intricate designs into painted wood panels, which are available in the gallery both as originals and as prints on maple. She has become adept at carving her artwork using both her right and left hands.<\/p>

M’fanwy bases many of her carvings on animals commonly found in Alaskan art. Her art has been published in international juried art annuals for imaginative realism and featured in galleries across the state.<\/p>

In addition to The Dean Gallery, you can find her work locally at both Ptarmigan Arts on Pioneer Avenue and at High Tides Art on the Homer Spit.<\/p>
