This Canadian pine sculpture of a golden eagle holding a fish is carved into the top of a 24″ octagon house post.
I carved this sculpture of a golden eagle in place while the log house was under construction near Knoxville, TN in 1989. The house was made with huge, squared Canadian pine logs. The upper floor beams are supported by the 24″ octagon post. It’s probably one of the first home to be chinked with Perma-Chink.
