Queen of the Nile

This small bronze torso has a monumental presence. It’s reminiscent of an ancient Egyptian queen.

I modeled this small bronze torso after a water-worn stone. I don’t remember where I found it. Maybe on the beach, while I was at Pond Farm Pottery school in California or maybe in an Alaskan river. It reminded me of an ancient Egyptian figure, broken and worn through the ages.

I’d consider commissions to make it as a life-size figure.

Bronze is 4.75” H., 10.6 ” on a walnut base
Edition of 120
